Music for a Memorial Day Weekend Bash
Memorial day means many things. Besides barbeques and the like it also means the end of finals and school for those of us that are going to school. I plan on send the kids to the sitters and getting together with my gal pals to have a wild girls night out. I was thinking that instead of the tradional bar b que me and my friends from night school would through a party with plenty of good music, kareoke and booze. I better brush up on my singing skills and learn some song lyrics as I don’t want to make a complete ass out of myself.
Tequila and vodka are a must. After all the stress of school I will need to unwind. I hope my husband Tom won’t mind giving up his normally guy’s guy weekend to hang out with some chicks. He should thank me, some of his friends are lame and single, I’ve been thinking about trying to hook some of them up with my girl friends. It will do them some good. I think I will play match maker this holiday and try to get my good friend Elaine and Tom’s friend Dave together they would be so cute together.
So as I am planning this all out I am also picking out my song select for kareoke. I’m trying to pick songs that are easy to sing where the lyrics and too difficult. Hope I can pick a good song list so we can all have a good time and for those who are single also get a chance to get cozy.
